Developmental Edit

• Covers everything from the main plot to subplots, characterization, voice, pacing, emotion, structure, setting, etc., and includes a detailed editorial letter, in-text comments, a one-hour video chat or phone call to discuss your edits, and any follow-up questions you may have.
• This option is most effective if your book has been through critique partners or beta readers and/or you’ve been through a couple of self-editing rounds on your manuscript. This service is the perfect fit if you’re continually getting requests for manuscript samples, but still not getting offers of publication or representation.

Manuscript Evaluation

• Addresses mainly big-picture items like your primary plot, characters, genre, world-building, etc. You will receive an editorial letter and a 20-minute video chat or phone call to discuss your edits.
• This option is most effective if you’re in fairly early in your revision process, say, your second draft.

First 50 Pages Critique
A more affordable alternative to the full manuscript evaluation.

Academic Editing
Bring your term paper or thesis to the next level with a professional editor.

Copyediting
Addresses sentence-level issues such as grammar, spelling and punctuation. Ensures consistency in descriptions, character names, your setting and more. Includes minor fact-checking.

Proofreading
A final read-through of your manuscript to catch errors in text or layout before publication. Not a substitution for copy editing.

Line Editing
Sentence level edits that address word choice, structure, emotion, clarity, character voice, flow and more. Line edits often make the difference between a good manuscript and a great one, and this service is ideal for authors who would like their finished manuscript to be polished to a shine before submitting to agents or publishers.

Query Critique
Query letters are your first (and often only) impression with the agent or editor of your dreams. I’ll review your query and offer feedback on how to make that first impression more memorable.

Submission Package Critique
Includes a critique of your query letter, synopsis, and first ten pages.

Online Presence Evaluation
An author’s online presence is an important part of getting published. I will review your presence online and offer solutions to help leave a digital mark on your journey to publishing success.
